It’s been a long time coming. We knew it was there. Then, behold – a miracle! The sun finally blessed us with its presence. Hoorah! Out comes the pale flesh and away goes the winter wardrobe. I can’t tell you how much happier I feel when the sun is shining. Any lights really – fairy lights, candle lights, moonlight… anything that sparkles.
This gem of a shot was snapped at a recent gig – The Bull in Ditchling. It really was a magical evening and I look forward to continuing the residency in its new form ‘Donna Fullman and Friends’ where I can bring along other lovely musicians to play alternate sets in an intimate setting every month. I’ve learned so much from doing this night – including the workings of a PA System! Trust me – this is progress. But not everyone wants to learn and grow and improve – I’ve only recently realised this. Some people are happy just as they are (and that’s great!). My pursuit of knowledge, truth and wisdom is, (lightbulb moment!) not the norm. It does however continue to inspire me to enquire, study and write.
